Laser Therapy

The Companion Therapy Laser System allows your pet to heal faster after surgery or any traumatic injury. It eases pain and improves mobility without the use of pharmaceuticals and surgery.The therapy provides your pet relief of aches and pains, and allows for more freedom and improved quality of life. Everyday disorders such as lick granulomas, chronic ear infection and arthritis, that cause severe pain and discomfort, are instantaneously relieved.

Internal Medicine

Dr. North is our MOVES veterinary internal medicine partner in the Tampa region. She is available to perform consultations and advanced internal medicine procedures including ultrasound and endoscopy at Gentle Care Pet Hospital. Dr. North has lived in many different locations and considers herself a Foreign Service “brat”. She has worked just about everywhere, from specialty medicine “Down Under” (Australia) to providing care for street cats, dogs, and even rescued elephants in Asia. Dr. North obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania and proceeded to complete a year-long internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York, NY, followed by a 3-year residency in small animal internal medicine at Michigan State University. She became a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2010. When not helping patients or traveling, Courtney enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and relaxing with her dogs, Sasha and Birdie.
